The BlackBox Recorder (v2.1) has been named Winner of the Recording Devices category at the 27th Annual Technical Excellence and Creativity Awards. The awards are presented by the TEC Foundation for Excellence in Audio in recognition of outstanding achievement in the professional audio industry. Winners were announced at a special event held during the 2012 NAMM Show, following several weeks of voting by industry professionals.
A delighted Joe Bull said: "We are absolutely thrilled to have received this recognition in a year that has seen some significant additions to the BlackBox family. As always we greatly appreciate the input we receive from our professional users and that helps us keep delivering recording hardware that meets a broad range of audio capture requirements. So it's extremely gratifying to have received such positive feedback on our latest developments. We would like to thank everyone who helped us achieve these great accolades."
JoeCo will exhibit for the first time at Integrated Systems Europe 2012. On show will be the latest versions of the BlackBox manufacturer's 1U range of multi-track audio players and recorders, including the BlackBox Player that provides 24-channel synchronous audio playback for theatres, installations, themed entertainment and the BlackBox BBR64-MADI Recorder that records up to 64-channels of MADI data as BWAV files directly to USB2 drives for instant re-purposing.
